I love this show.All I have to do is clear out the front of the shop and watch someone else make the magic happen, and it does!

but we're also welcoming the Bayside Bakery for holiday treats to nibble while you shop!

I always love to see what is new in your wonderful shop. I am wondering if you wish to share how you did the print on the piano rolls. Eat, Drink, and be merry. I love the idea and have a plethora of player piano rolls to use. Thanks Renee in St. Louis
ReplyDeleteRenee, sorry I didn't see this sooner! I had a friend of mine, who is a talented artist, make the signs. She basically rolled them out and painted away. I could never do this myself, but it was easy enough for her and maybe you have a steady hand as well. There is always the stencil idea. I loved using the rolls this way... what else are you going to do with them?
ReplyDeleteHi Angie, I am missing the cool crisp days I am sure you are experiencing this time of year. I am from a suburb of Miwaukee and I miss the beauty of the north. I have had a shop with a friend for 5 years but we are closing end of Dec. It was a shop I think you would have loved. The displays were fabulous. We would use piano rolls as runners on tables, under cloches,used wire to hang them as window shades(darling),Would rip them down the middle to use as Christmas garland just to name a few. I hope to visit your store soon. My parents live near Sheboygan. Hope the holidays are good to you, and thanks for sharing the info. Renee
